$19K Matching Campaign – SUCCESS!

This story must first begin with a message of MASSIVE gratitude for you, our ardent friends and supporters. What originally began in May as a campaign to raise funds for the members of the Class of 2019 to journey “to and through” college, by June 30 had evolved into a large, wonderful gift that can now impact ALL Foundation Academies Alumni.
In our initial campaign, a group of generous donors agreed to match dollar-for-dollar any new or updated gift made in May or June, with the goal of raising $19K for the Class of 2019.
We are thrilled to announce that we have met our goal, and when matched by the donors, we have raised a total of $38,000 for members of the Class of 2019!
These funds will be made available as scholarships, college persistence microgrants, and other initiatives. Thanks to you, our incredible supporters, as well as the Roma Bank Community Foundation and the Investors Foundation, we met this goal in gifts and pledges by June 14!
Inspired by this campaign’s success, another generous donor came forward with the idea of creating a new $19K matching campaign, this time to fundraise for ANY Foundation Alum currently enrolled in college.
Of course, we were ecstatic to take on the challenge to raise another $19K for our graduates as they journey “to and through” college.
We are extremely proud to announce that the secondary campaign has ALSO met its goal, and when matched by the donor, will have raised a total of $38,000!
In total, within a span of less than two full months, we have raised $76,000 in gifts and pledges for our graduates, which is truly an incredible feat.
We would be remiss if we didn’t send thanks to all who donated and shared our campaign on social media – we absolutely couldn’t have achieved these ambitious goals without your support. And now, thanks to you, Foundation Academies’ Alumni will have access to funds to support their college education. We honestly cannot think of a more fitting achievement to wrap up the 2018-19 school year!
