Status as of October 8, 2021

We have experienced 3 positive cases at Foundation Academies.

Foundation Academy Middle School has 1 confirmed COVID-19 case.

  • Status: As per NJ DOH Guidance three classrooms were quarantined and transferred to remote learning.

Foundation Collegiate Academy has 2 confirmed COVID-19 cases.

  • Status: As per NJ DOH Guidance all reported close contacts of the positive cases, which involved another 15 students, have been contacted and informed to quarantine and transfer to remote learning.

According to guidance provided by the NJ Department of Health as well as the COVID-19 health and safety procedures we have implemented, this situation does not require a school shut down.

Every parent whose son/daughter has been identified to have been in close contact with the person who tested positive has been called by the school. If you did not receive a call, your child was not identified as a close contact.

Foundation Academies continues to work closely with the City of Trenton Department of Health and Human Services and is following the policies and procedures the district developed in accordance with CDC, state, and local health guidance to ensure the health and safety of everyone within our community.

We will continue to keep our school community informed when confirmed COVID cases arise.

Please continue to follow the health protocols that help keep your family and the families of our Foundation Academies school community safe, both inside and outside of school. We thank you for your cooperation and support.

Sincerely,
