Dr. Shanesia Davis Named Chief Talent Officer

Beginning next school year, effective July 1, 2022, Dr. Shanesia Davis will take on a new position as Foundation Academies’ Chief Talent Officer (CTO). For the past two years, she served as FA’s Director of Training and Development.
As a member of the Executive Team, Dr. Davis will play a pivotal role in the organization by designing and implementing a vision for the Talent team. She will also work to integrate FA’s diversity, equity, and inclusion beliefs and values through innovative and community-responsive practices that broaden and advance the staff member experience.
Dr. Davis’ Why Statement is “To equip us all with the tools and confidence to activate our innate powers.” She says, “We are all born with power far beyond the limits of our minds. If we haven’t named and pursued our goals, it may be that we lack the awareness and/or confidence to act. I look forward to working with our staff to help identify and synergize the unique qualities of each individual so we may reach our collective full potential.” She states, she is most excited “to be a part of actualizing our non-negotiable vision”.
Prior to joining FA, Shanesia had educated in traditional public and charter schools at several levels, advancing from science teacher to Science Department Chairperson to Vice Principal to, eventually School Principal and Director of Curriculum and Instruction. Dr. Davis earned both her Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership and a Masters in Education Administration from Grand Canyon University and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stockton University.
