The 2021-2022 school year welcomed back sports to Foundation Academy Collegiate. It was a challenging year for many reasons, but our student-athletes showed their grit and determination in going out to compete and facing these challenges head-on.

The boys and girls soccer teams returned after a year off and played their hearts out at their new home fields in Ewing, New Jersey. The season culminated under the lights at Solebury in a great display of sportsmanship. For the boys, Martir Palacios, now a senior, showed huge growth as he became a leader for the young team that will lead the way for future teams under head coach Edwin Benavides.

First-year girls soccer coach Erika Shulman demonstrated excellent leadership skills developing a very young soccer team and setting them up for future success. The girl’s soccer program is in great shape with Erika Shulman at the helm.

In just the second season of its existence, the Girls Volleyball team showed huge growth and missed a spot in the playoffs by just one game. Head coach Elizabeth Toth showed that dedication to the development of the team paid off with their success this year.

Vicky Weng represented the team in the PJAA all-star game and had one of the stand-out performances of the game.
