School Updates

Welcome Spring!

Hello FAmilies,

This month we are celebrating our scholars’ achievements with special field trips and activities, and preparing them for statewide tests measuring academic growth and achievement.

Elementary School leaders invite FAmilies of scholars in grades 3-5 to an info session TONIGHT Wednesday March 6 at 5 pm in the gym at 363 W. State Street to explain what the New Jersey Statewide Learning Assessment is and why these tests matter for your scholar.

Our scholars are charting a course for academic success in our “Take Flight” campaign. Each grade has chosen a destination and scholars can earn “miles” by demonstrating qualities, such as perseverance and stamina, that lead to achievement. They also are learning test-taking strategies to help them feel confident and show what they know!

We are so proud of our scholars. Please help your scholar do their best by making sure they come to school every day, on time, and ready to learn.

This week, we are holding our Admissions Lottery -- we look forward to welcoming many siblings and new scholars to FA in 2024-25!

See you soon!

Chief Academic Officer

Looking back at our Black History Month celebrations, we also look forward to Women’s History Month when we continue to honor the remarkable contributions of those who have paved the way for progress, both in the past and present.

At Foundation Academies, we embody the spirit of making history every day by leading purpose-filled lives and setting examples for others. Together, through hard work and teamwork, we are writing our own story.
