Foundation Academies Launches New High School Arts Program Thanks to Investors Bank Foundation

The Friends of Foundation Academies recently received a $5,000 grant from the Investors Bank Foundation to launch new virtual arts programming at our high school campus. The grant will help further Foundation Academies’ mission by offering our students increased opportunities to explore their passions and express themselves through visual and performing art.
“Our students are always looking for ways to be creative and places to find community, especially in this virtual setting. I think a program like this couldn’t have come at a more perfect time,” says Matthew Francis, a Foundation Academy Collegiate Leader of Student Culture.
The new program consists of three new extracurricular club offerings: Dance, Creative Writing, and Hip Hop Songwriting. Each club will feature monthly guest facilitators from Mighty Writers, Young Audiences, The Writer’s Circle, and Princeton University student performing arts groups, such as the Black Arts Company and Más Flow Latin Dance Company.
We express our deepest gratitude to the Investors Foundation for its generosity, and for believing in our students. This program would not be possible without your support!
