Friends of FA Welcomes Lawrenceville Executive to Board

FA welcomes Lawrenceville executive Dwight Green as a board member of The Friends of Foundation Academies, a nonprofit organization dedicated to attracting donations. program partners and volunteers providing learning opportunities for our scholars K-12.

Dwight Green

Mr. Green is managing partner/co-founder of consultancy, VentureStrat Associates LLC, with prior engagements for Nielsen, WPP, Oracle and other major to emerging firms. He has focused on guiding business unit and venture build-outs across data, media, and technology forover the last 20+ years. Engagements have included Nielsen, WPP, and other major to emerging firms. 

He has been active in local youth soccer, baseball and track and field. He enjoys mentoring young entrepreneurs, professionals and students. Mr. Green holds degrees in electrical engineering and computer science, as well as a certificate in African-American studies, from Princeton University, and an MBA from Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania.

“I am thrilled to join a team of fine leaders, educators, administrators, philanthropists, and professionals to help facilitate Foundation Academy’s continued excellence on behalf of spirited Trenton youth,” he said. “A major personal motivation derives from having had intense New York City middle/high school experiences similar to these students. I look forward to supporting leadership’s vision of broad inclusive collaboration to foster outsized Trenton student achievement and community development.”

About The Friends

The Friends of Foundation Academies was founded in 2010 to encourage community support of FA. Board members, community members and volunteers support, enhance, and promotes learning opportunities for Trenton youth.

Mr. Green joins a group of dedicated volunteers, including Howie Powers, Chair; Reid McCarthy, Treasurer; Anthony Klockenbrink, Secretary, Joanna Herrera, and Betsy Rendall

FOFA Chair Powers welcomed Mr. Green’s “passion, energy and expertise” as the 2022-23 academic year opens under the leadership of new CEO Sheria McRae

“Along with the strong leadership of Foundation Academy CEO Sheria McRae and the FA Board of Trustees, the Friends of FA Board are focused on attracting resources needed to build and maintain a safe, high-quality, purpose-driven school experience for our scholars,” Mr. Powers said. “We are grateful to Dwight and his fellow Board members for dedicating their time, talent, and resources to this important work.”
