Important: COVID-19 High School Facility Shutdown (22 Grand Street ONLY) – Thursday, August 19, 2021

Dear FAmily,

This letter is to inform you that as of Thursday, August 19, 2021, we have experienced an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in our schools.

Foundation Academy Collegiate has 1 confirmed COVID-19 case.

  • What this means: Foundation Academy Collegiate will shift to 100% remote instruction immediately.

According to guidance provided by the NJ Department of Health as well as the COVID-19 health and safety procedures we have implemented, this situation requires a building shut down.

Every parent whose son/daughter has been identified to have been in close contact with the person(s) who tested positive has been called by the school. If you did not receive a call, your child was not identified as a close contact. However, to err on the side of caution, we are closing the 22 Grand Street building immediately.

School for those not affected and at all our other schools and the 363 West State Street building will resume as normal tomorrow morning.

Foundation Academies continues to work closely with the City of Trenton Department of Health and Human Services and is following the policies and procedures the district developed in accordance with CDC, state, and local health guidance to ensure the health and safety of everyone within our community. We will continue to keep you informed regarding our reopening date and the return to in-person instruction for our Foundation Academy Collegiate students.

Please continue to follow the health protocols that help keep your family and the families of our Foundation Academies school community safe, both inside and outside of school. We thank you for your cooperation and support.

Sincerely,

Jueves, 19 de agosto de 2021

Querida FAmilia,

Sinceramente,
