“After more than a year of remote learning during the pandemic, we are excited to blend academics that address learning loss with a wide range of extracurricular activities that give our students an outlet to engage with their peers in a fun social setting,” said Kheri Freeman, Principal-in-Residence and director of this year’s Summer Accelerated Academy. “By providing our students with enjoyable, intentional learning experiences and enrichment activities, we continue to support their social-emotional needs and prepare them for success during the upcoming school year.”

In addition to academic programming, students participate in a variety of extracurricular activities like skateboarding with Freedom Skate Park, STEM club with Likeable STEM, Art Club with Village Arts, Book Club and additional STEM programming through the Trenton Public Library, and having fun learning the art of circus performance with the Trenton Circus Squad.
