Let’s Read Together! D.E.A.R. on October 29th

D.E.A.R.

Love reading to children?

We are seeking enthusiastic guest readers to join us once again virtually for Drop Everything and Read on Friday, October 29, 2021, 7:30-8:30 am.

Have fun reading your favorite children’s book to our Kindergarten, 1st, or 2nd graders.

The theme for this event is Book Character Day. So, whether it’s the Very Hungry Caterpillar, Corduroy, or Thing 1 & Thing 2, we encourage you to dress up as your favorite book character!

Drop Everything and Read is a national initiative that encourages young readers to build skills and develop a love of reading.

You will present one hard copy book to a class via Google Meet. Have fun! Feel free to dress in character or use props if you like.

Click the link below to sign-up and we will follow up with specific instructions for accessing your virtual classrooms.

Please register by Friday, October 22, 2021, to ensure your space.
