The Intermediate School includes grades three through five.

This transition into pre-adolescence brings a new set of responsibilities for our scholars. There is less “hand-holding” during this transition, as students focus on organization and fostering independence and responsibility.

During their time in Intermediate School, students are introduced to their stringed instruments. By the end of fifth grade, all scholars have an orchestral instrument they will continue practicing for years to come.

Rewards and moments for play are still honored and incorporated throughout a rigorous curriculum across all content areas.

School Day: 7:30 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.

Focus: Our approach to intermediate school encourages critical thinking. Students learn to form their own thoughts and opinions and participate in sharing them with their classmates in appropriate ways. We work at building a community of mutual respect.

Our schools are just a quick car ride to downtown Princeton, a 45-minute SEPTA ride to Center City Philadelphia, or a hop on the NJ Transit Express to New York City.
