Where are they now? Catching up with two Class of 2016 FA Alumni!
Foundation Academies Alumni are forever part of our FAmily, and we’re so proud to celebrate two members of the Class of 2016 who recently graduated from their college programs at Centenary University and The College of New Jersey.
Just like our own Class of 2020 graduates, our Alumni have shown that they, too, are #BrilliantandResilient, letting nothing stand in the way of completing their undergraduate degrees. Congratulations!
Read on to learn what Alexis Alford and Camille Echols are up to now!

Alexis Alford graduated FCA in 2016 and in 2020 completed her BS in Business Administration: Management & Marketing at Centenary University.
During her time at Centenary University, Alexis held many leadership roles, such as President and Treasurer of her sorority, Alpha Theta Psi; VP of Senate for Student Government; member of BSU; mentor; student activities worker; as well as completed 3+ internships in the areas of insurance, tax, food service, and marketing.
When asked about how her experience at Foundation Academies helped her to achieve her goals, Alexis shared:
“My experience at Foundation Academies has pushed me to use academics to go further in life, whether that be trade school, university, etc. Also, the relationships I’ve gained from being at FA… we’ve created a bond, and FA is always there when needed!”
After graduation, Alexis plans to attend graduate school to further her education and is currently searching for a graduate assistantship.
Congratulations, Alexis! Best of luck with your post-graduate studies. We can’t wait to see what you’ll achieve next!

Camille Echols graduated FCA in 2016 and in 2020 completed her BS in Management/Business Administration at The College of New Jersey.
During her time at TCNJ, Camille earned the TCNJ Promise Scholarship as well as the TCNJ Incentive Scholarship.
When asked about how her experience at Foundation Academies helped her to achieve her goals, Camille shared:
“Thanks for helping to build my tireless work ethic!! As hard as things seemed during my college career, I always felt motivated to keep pushing through.”
Camille currently works for Master Plan Investment Group and plans to obtain a real estate license in the future so that she can begin “buying back the neighborhood and fixing it up!”
Congratulations, Camille! We’re wishing all the best as you continue to pursue your post-graduate goals!
