While the Summer Sun Blazes On, We’ve Been Busy Here at FA

Greetings, FAmily,
Welcome to July’s update! I hope your summer is off to a great start and you’re finding ways to beat the heat (a.k.a. enjoy yourself). While the summer sun blazes on, we’ve been keeping busy here at FA.
This month, we are hosting Summer Accelerated Academy at our 363 West State Street campus, while over at our 22 Grand Street campus, we’re using the time to upgrade and enhance our intercom system for safety and security. Our Talent Team held a fun meet and greet event to welcome all our newly-hired FAmily members, and the Friends of Foundation Academies completed a successful fundraiser to support college persistence for our alumni. All the while, school leaders and home office staff have continued working diligently in preparation for the upcoming school year.
It’s hard to believe that we’re already at the end of July, but, as the summer begins to wind down, I am looking very forward to August. After 15+ months of remote and hybrid learning, on August 19, all FA students will return full-time, 5 days per week, in-person, together again.
FINALLY!
What will the return to school look like with the ever-changing status of COVID-19? Well, to put it as simply as possible: as the national and state guidance shifts and changes, so will we. We will continue to remain resilient so that our students can safely receive the high-quality education they deserve, together, in person.
Wishing you an enjoyable rest of your summer and we’ll see you in August!
