Equip
In our classrooms, leaning into small groups provides scholars the support to achieve their academic goals and develop foundational skills. Assessment data guides our teaching so we can identify and meet each scholar’s learning needs.
Excel
Tutoring and small group instruction enable scholars to master skills needed to grow academically. Summer Academy courses promote skill retention and prepare scholars for a successful school year. Our four-year adjusted cohort graduation rate is 95.7% – exceeding the New Jersey statewide average.
Empower
Scholars see themselves in our diverse faculty, leadership, and staff. We communicate in both English and Spanish so all families are informed and engaged. Social workers, a behavioral analyst, counselors and special services faculty support scholars so they can achieve wellness and move toward self-actualization.
Lead
Events and clubs, such as Black Student Union and Poder, instill cultural pride and respect. National Honor Society celebrates scholarship, leadership, and community service. College & Career Advising begins in middle school so scholars can create and follow their own paths to purpose.
