And the possibilities continue to grow for this progressive institution, whose rigorous curriculum is built on empowerment and whose college-bound scholars have a 100% acceptance rate.

“Foundation Academies first opened its doors as a middle school in a borrowed building in 2007 and began with 87 fifth and sixth graders,” said CEO Sheria McRae of the school’s origins. “We’ve since grown to encompass two schools on two campuses (K-8 and 9-12 facilities) in Trenton and are currently educating over 1,100 K-12 scholars.”
