FA Celebrates Making History Every Day

Looking back at our Black History Month celebrations, we also look forward to  Women’s History Month when we continue to honor the remarkable contributions of those who have paved the way for progress, both in the past and present.

At Foundation Academies, we embody the spirit of making history every day by leading purpose-filled lives and setting examples for others. Together, through hard work and teamwork, we are writing our own story.

Elementary and Middle School scholars performed for the first time at the Trenton War Memorial in “A Door Made for Me,” featuring skits, music, dance, and artwork paying homage to those who have opened doors allowing us to choose our path in society regardless of color or race.

And the FA Collegiate Black Student Union held several events, concluding with Soulful Expression, a celebration  featuring art, games, performances, food, local vendors, and dancing.

Special thanks to FA Collegiate scholar Shamya Smith for the FAbulous BHM event poster and to staff and scholars for celebrating Black history and excellence.
