Foundation Academies' 100 Man Welcome: Uplifting Scholars, Strengthening Community

by Daniel Helmstetter

On January 30, 2025, Foundation Academies will continue a powerful tradition that embodies encouragement, support, and community pride—the 100 Man Welcome. This annual event brings together 100 male role models, including fathers, mentors, local professionals, and community leaders, to greet students with high-fives, cheers, and words of motivation as they arrive for the school day. We ask participants to please register in advance HERE.

FA welcomes the community to our campuses at 363 West State Street and 22 Grand Street in Trenton, NJ beginning at 7AM for a brief gathering—including light breakfast and introductions. Shortly after, these men will line the entrances and hallways to create a spirit-filled reception for scholars, celebrating their hard work as they reach the milestone 100th day of school.

A Community Tradition That Inspires

More than just a welcome, this event serves as a visible reminder of the strength and support that exists within Trenton. Seeing men from all walks of life—educators, entrepreneurs, first responders, and more—rally around them reinforces the message that students are valued, believed in, and capable of achieving greatness.

"The 100 Man Welcome is one of my favorite Foundation traditions," said FA CEO Sheria McRae. "I love how it brings our scholars and community together to celebrate learning."

The 100 Man Welcome is open to all men in the community who want to make a difference. Join Foundation Academies in this unforgettable celebration of education, empowerment, and solidarity—one high-five at a time.
